- These are perfectly normal Amiga resolutions. 640x512 is PAL hires laced or
- doublescan, and 320x256 is PAL lores. 368x283 is PAL lores overscan.

- Overscan is commonly used in video applications, and what it does is extend
- the screen resolution (and image) to the edge of the screen (and beyond),
- without changing the size of the pixels.

- Hires overscan goes to 768x566 in PAL, or x486 in NTSC. Pictures of this
- resolution, or one of the other overscan sizes (752 for D2, 720 for D1) are
- common for video capture images and animations.

- You also might need some sort of converter for images with greater than 256
- colors, which is pretty common for demos & artwork.

- Obviously, there are resolutions that far exceed a standard VGA display. But
- you should be able to handle many of them by using a higher resolution mode;
- SVGA 800x600 24 bit should cover any of the video-compatible image modes.
